Last Sunday HeadSpace took part in Efford’s one day community radio day. The young people promoted the station by giving away free mini radios and leafleting. HeadSpace also hosted a slot from 2-3pm and later the station aired their radio play ‘The Wild Spirits of Efford’. Rhys, George and Liam broadcast from 2-2.30pm and Sonny, Matt and Sam took to the air from 2.30-3pm.
The day included a community celebration event at Efford valley including a bouncy castle, games, prize draw for the NSPCC and a BBQ. Over 300 people attended the event and 30 broadcast live to Efford (and online).
